Trinity Baptist Church was organized September 29, 1946 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Speir with 16 charter members.  The first deacons were Earl Speir, Harold Price, Jack Barron and Clyde Barron.

After meeting in various homes in the community for several months, the members met in an empty store-room that was part of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Barron's store, which was at the time, located directly across the road from where the present church is located.  After the Barron's sold their store, the congregation met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Griggs until a frame building could be erected on land donated by Mr. Hagland near the present location of the sanctuary.

In July of 1958 a brick auditorium was constructed and a new educational building was built.  A new educational building was in the making in 1981.  Our new multi-purpose building was constructed  in 1997 for additional Bible study areas and for recreational and social activities.  A number of mobile units were purchased to accomodate the growing congregation.  Renovation was also done to the existing auditorium and education building.  The T-Center, as we call our multipurpose building, was established as a Red Cross Disaster Relief Shelter in July of 1998.  Through this ministry hundreds of people have felt the arms and love of our Lord in their darkest hours of need.  Our gifted volunteers for the Shelter give freely of their time and energy for this wonderful ministry.

September 19, 2004 was an exciting day for Trinity as we held a dedication service thanking God for blessing us with our expanded and remodeled auditorium which now seats 600.  Former pastors joined us in celebrating this wonderful event with us.  What an awesome and mighty God we serve!

Those who founded this church had the faith and desire to organize a church in this community.  Their courage and hope was inspired by the Holy Spirit and they built upon the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ.

Today Trinity Baptist Church is packed full of thriving ministries.  God has blessed Trinity with a loving family of believers.  There is a special essence of warmth, peace, love, and joy that can be sensed at Trinity with our family.

"Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
